Founded in 2015, the Company produces graphene (reported by Explain That Stuff, "Graphene", 2018) as being the thinnest material known to man at one atom thick, but also incredibly strong - around 200 times stronger than steel. FlexeGraph state they have identified a scalable process for the high quality and low-cost production of graphene and other 2D materials, which are designed with the aim to be non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
The Company has since developed a range of nano-fluids, for use in heat transfer applications; including coolants for the automotive industry. The product is designed to be particularly effective when cooling electric vehicle batteries, with the aims of reducing charging time and extending battery life. The Company advises that it can also be used for cooling internal combustion engines, which in the long-term may potentially reduce fuel consumption as well as CO2 or NOx emissions.
